She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vigil and Sofia Garcia; and her husband Joe Valdez. She is survived by: her children, Jonnie Valdez, Dorthy Colpitts (Bob), Esther Kamhoot and Terry Valdez (Sindi); and her siblings, Tony (Myrtle) and Amos (Betty). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
