It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Mortensen of Pleasant Grove, Utah, born in Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on November 25, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Christian Mortensen; his wife Linda Nystrom; his siblings, Val Dean, Eugene, Johnny and Teresa; and his granddaughter Lacey Mortensen.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Carver; his children, Karlene Austin of Mapleton, Utah, Rick Mortensen (Pam) of Nampa, Idaho, Janet Thurston (Travis) of Nibley, Utah, Brenda Hawker (Troy) of Wellsville, Utah, Stacy Hollinger of Pocatello, Idaho and Hollie Nisson (Mike) of Pocatello, Idaho.; and his brothers, Earl Petersen (Shelly) and Jay Petersen (Nancy) of Spring City, Utah.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
