She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald Pereira and Brigida Lara. She is survived by: her husband Mozart; her sister Janine Lara Almeida; her children, Bruno Fontanetti (Anna), Teresa Fontanetti Stubbs (John) and Tess Fontanetti-Rice (Cecil); and her grandsons, Mason and Owen Stubbs.
