She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Kip Thompson; and her grandson Josh Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Donald Vanderhoof; and her children, Lance Vanderhoof (Sheri), Paige Thompson (Dan Johnson) and Layne Vanderhoof (Jamie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
