He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Hess and Pearl May Nish; his wife Edna Asenath Archibald (Temple); and his daughters, Jana Lee and Jamie Marie.
He is survived by: his children, LeAnn (Craig Young), Rodney (Jean Hess), Janiel (Allen Love), Shane (Stacey Hess) and Jeremiah Hess. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
