He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Arnold Frank and Leila "Dearie" Pearl Cross; his wife Anita; his children, Rod Cross, Greg Cross, Debbie Harvey, Teresa Langdon, Dan Cross, Tim Cross and Angie Pippin; and also Lawrence J. Bills. He was also cherished by 35 grandchildren; and 67 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, he requested contributions be made to the Perpetual Education Fund.
