He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorena Chipman and Harvey Fletcher; and his siblings, Phyllis Firmage, Stephen, Charles and James Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Deah Tonks; and his children, Mary Lyn (Dennis), Tom (Beth), John (Terri), Deanna (Peter), Amy (Doug) and Judy (Preston). He is also survived by children, 28 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
