He was predeceased by: his son Eugene A. Gardner; and his siblings, Dean Gardner and Phyllis Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Orpha; and his children, Stanley M. Gardner (Cristie), Reed S. Gardner (Becky), Denice Gardner Vance, Kelly R. Gardner (Sara), Scott W. Gardner (Cynthia) and Paul S. Gardner. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, and 66 great grandchildren.
