He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Peter Rowbury and Leah Hill Rowbury; and his brothers, Lynn Rowbury and Lyle Rowbury. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Pratt Rowbury; and his children, JulieAnn (Kris), Amy, Michael (Laura), Kathy (Ammon), David (Heidi), Stephen (Amy), Susann (Frans), Rachel (Brian) and Annette (Bridgett). He is also survived by his 46 grandchildren (with 1 on the way), 6 great-grandchildren, and 7 siblings.
