He was predeceased by: his sisters, Charlotte Heaton, Shirley Birkhead and Carolyn Kimber; his brothers-in-law, Orlande Heaton, Steve Kimber and Guy Sharp; and his son-in-law Kirk Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Benjamin Harrison and Jessie Mildred Black Barrus; his wife Roma Miller (Temple); his children, Roy (Jodi Barrus), Vaughn (Pam Barrus), Steven (Angela Barrus), Mary Weimer of Maple Valley, Washington, Clara (Travis Pickett), Charlotte (Delmer Hyde) and John (Marnie Barrus); his sister Rosalyn Jessie Sharp of Rexburg, Idaho; and his brother-in-law Roy Birkhead of Idaho Falls, Idaho.. He is also survived by 43 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.
