It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Carter Montano Verhaeren (Saint George, Utah), born in Minersville, Utah, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Carter and Elaine Carter; her siblings, Gary, Judy and Scott; her former husband Rick Montaño; and her grandsons, Nicolas Hennessey and Vincent Buice.
She is survived by: her children, Susi Hennessey (John), Ricardo Antonio (Rick), Cheri Lynn Montaño, Cinthia Ann Montaño (Cindy), Buice (Todd) and Maria Antonia Montaño (Toni); and her caregiver Michelle Jacobs. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
