He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Emma McEwen and Ruben D. McEwen; his sister Gayle Jacobson; his son-in-law Paul Giacalone; and also, Tofu and Zena.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lindsey Giacalone and Amy Madden; his grandchildren, Gregory Giacalone, Alicia Madden, Samantha Madden and Emily Claremont; and his sister RaeDean McEwen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
