She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lincoln Sr. and Hazel Lincoln; and her brothers, Everett D. Lincoln Jr. and Emerson Kirk. She is survived by: her former spouse Perry James; her son Santee James; her husband Luke Coy Cooke Jr.; her daughter Ilene; and her brothers, Herbert L. Kirk and Henry Harding. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
