He was predeceased by: his parents, James LeRoy Anderson and Lucile Benson Anderson Young; his stepfather Lloyd Young; his son Burl Anderson; his siblings, Dean, Doyle Anderson, Carol Ann and Cheryl Anderson; and his grandsons, Kaden Jones and Dieter Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Rose Anderson of St. George, Utah; and his children, Doyle Anderson (Pauline) of Pocatello, Marjie Jones (Paul), James Anderson (Karen), Lucy Stout (Marc), Della Carter and Alexis Anderson of St. George, Utah. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
