Evelyn N. Garris Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn N. Garris of Saint George, Utah, born in La Jara, Colorado, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Poulson Peterson; her husband Robert W. Garris; her father Robert Peterson; and her siblings, Cora, Alice, Wade and Leigh.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Peterson La Jara (Gerry). She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, as well as their spouses and children.
Due to COVID-19, a private family viewing followed by a graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made to Huntsman Cancer Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
