He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Leroy Waite and Martha Lucina Bowman Waite; his wife Eleanor Leavitt; his children, Geraldine Bushnell (William Bushnell), Dennis Waite (Patricia), David Waite (Pamela) and Linda Christensen (Paul Christensen); his brother Orley Waite; and his grandsons, Mark Steven and Scott Waite. He was also cherished by his children, 22 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
