It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glenda Lacavalla (Saint George, Utah), born in San Jose, California, who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Constance Louise Sciortino Galer and Glen Sumner Galer. She is survived by: her husband Mario P. Lacavalla of Washington, Utah; her sister Marilyn Joyce Galer Whaley (Dave Whaley) of San Jose, California; her children, Lori Ann Lacavalla Mellander (Kevin Mellander) of La Verkin, Mario P. Lacavalla Jr. of San Jose and Patty Lacavalla McGarry (Mark McGarry) of Elk Ridge, Utah.; and her grandchildren, Glen Mellander, Elise Sambrano, Dawnielle Andersen and Kara Hopkins. She is also survived by spouses, as well as 10 great grandchildren.

She volunteered at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in the gift shop and she also participated annually in the Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
