He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert O. Vowles and Patricia Hansen Sturdy; his wife Valerie Vowles of St George; and his children, Sundi Pace (Michael), Dexter Vowles (Maren), McKayla Johnson (Daniel) and Derek Vowles (Sofia). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, and 8 siblings.
