He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Franklin and Vilate Irene Riggs Barney; his brothers, Wayne Barney (Roma), Vern Barney (Fonetta) and Gordon Barney; his great grandchild Cody Marshall; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Barney.
He is survived by: his children, JoAnn, Ipson, Craig Barney (Terry) of Hatch, Joyce Gordon (Vic) of Hurricane and Doris Hawkins (Spencer) of Salem; his brothers, LaMar Barney of Hatch and Ferrill Barney (JoAnn); and his sister-in-law Gail Barney. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
