She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive mother Ruby Ethel Leutwiler; her friend Fran; her husband John LaRue Lightner; her children, Beverly Lightner Clark, John Craig Lightner and Julie Ott (Richard); and her half-sister Martha Gould Munro. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
