He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Marie. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Sevald (Claudia) and Eileen Alvarez; his children, Peter James, Lillian Marie, Charlotte Ruth and Jonathan David; his siblings, Andrew (Jennifer) and Claire; his parents-in-law, Harold, Carol and Donnie; and his siblings-in-law, Kate (Darren), Andrew, Steven and Bradley (Jayla). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests prayers for peace, acceptance, and for the grandparents to be the best guardians possible for their children in a way which honors Eva and Matt and keeps their memory alive.
