Meeks Morrell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meeks Morrell in Saint George, Utah, born in Salina, Utah, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chapman and Dora Meeks Morrell; his wife LaWana Jane Turner (Temple) of Lyman; his siblings, Elwood (Ora Morrell), Reuben (Phyllis Morrell), Dora Dean (Rex Mathis) and Rebecca Lyle Morrell; his grandson LaRon Bagley; and his parents-in-law, Hazel, Collier Turner, Dawn, Claud Mangum, Mark, Rula Turner, Venetta Turner, Willis Turner, Luana, Leonard Christensen, Scott Turner, Mabel, Klar Jorgensen and Don Emery King.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca, Richard Pace of Teasdale, Janie Mae of St. George, Val Robinson of St. George, Ramona of St. George, Jim McKim of St. George, Carrie Morrell of St. George and Marilyn Morrell of St. George. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions and mandates, a private family funeral will be held at the Bicknell Community Center in Bicknell and burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
