He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow James and Leah Irene Wilson Trappett; his sisters, Joan Roche (Dallas) and Connie Milligan; his father-in-law Garth Bundy; and his pet Hootie.

He is survived by: his wife Mona Trappett; his son Bryon Bundy (Laren Blake); his granddaughter Rowan; his brothers, LaMar Trappett (Diann) and Billy Trappett; his brother-in-law Larry Milligan; and his mother-in-law Louise Bundy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
