He was predeceased by: his son Douglas H. Caine; and his stepdaughter Cathleen Bryan Graveside. He is survived by: his spouses, Mary Carol Nutt and Donna; his son Richard E. Caine; his stepchildren, Cynthia Dupaix, Raymond Hughes, Dale Hughes (Robin), Roger Hughes (Stephanie), Karl Hughes (Cheryl), Pamela Tait (David) and Teresa Medel (John); and his brother Rodney Caine.
