He is survived by: his wife Carole Kelsey Gardner; his children, Robert Colson (Rob Rattner), Thomas Colson (Tristan), Sue Colson Schoonover and Jan Bryson (Victor); his grandchildren, Caralyn Colson, Eric Colson, Rachel Stevens (Bryson), David Colson, Zachary Bryson (Louisa), Trevor Bryson (Cristy), Alexander Bryson, Samantha Bryson and Hailey Bryson; and his siblings, Mary VanNoy, James Colson (Sharon), Karen Hill (Neal) and Steven (Donna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
