He was predeceased by: his parents, Ona Schroath (Sharp) and Leonard Schroath; and his grandson Benjamin Schroath. He is survived by: his wife Connie Brooks; his children, Cindy Syndergaard (Paul), Leonard Schroath (Angela), Cathy Loeper (Dave), Beverly Shedden (Brent), Janice Powell, Michael Schroath (Toni), Michelle Barrows (Jeff), Jim Schroath (Lori) and Jennifer Stevenson (Edwin); and his brother Gary Schroath (Elvira). He is also survived by children gave him 44 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Southern Utah Heritage Choir, (a favorite of his) at PO Box 3281, St. George UT, 84771.
