He was predeceased by: his wife Corrine; his parents, William R. Silvis and Ruth E. Silvis; and his sister Lorraine Silvis, Sr.. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Ann Schimelphenig (Les); and his children, Bill Silvis (Lenore) of Ringgold, GA, Lucinda Silvis of Champlin, MN, Sue Holland and Jen Byrne (Rich) of Arlington, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many caring nieces and nephews.
