He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Owen Erekson; his wife Jill Christensen Erekson; his son Justin; and his siblings, John and Marie.
He is survived by: his friend Tim Meredith; his children, Tammy Breen (Jon) and Tim Jeremy "T. J."; his grandchildren, Bailee, Zack, Kanyon, Brooklyn, Cora, Van, Ayda, Lyza, Jordyn, Kaydence, Kabrie and Kaylia; and his sister Penny.
