He was predeceased by: his parents, John Denzil Sproul and Gwendolyn Nisson; and his siblings, Douglas Sproul, Leatrice Johnson, Fern Sproul, Gwen Pierce and Wilburn Sproul.
He is survived by: his sons, Kurt Woodruff Sproul, Jeffrey Pace Sproul and Scott Douglas Sproul; his wife Pennie Rae Sproul (Temple); his daughter Jodi Claire Van Cleve (Sproul); and his siblings, Edward Sproul and Jeannie Reich. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
