He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentis McRae Lovelis and Lelie Verda Scott; his siblings, William A., Prentis McRae Jr., Arthur Carlon and Christine; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Phoebe Richardson; and his son Stephan Jay Bown.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Richardson; and his daughters, Deborah Louise Lewis (Vic) of Woodland Hills, UT and Cynthia Lee Hill of Royersford, PA.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
