He was predeceased by : his parents, Blaine Ewles and Ruth Ardean Sorensen Ewles; his sons, Kirtley Blaine and Kasey Bud Ewles; his parents-in-law, Bud and Ruth Miller; and his siblings, Beverly Turner, John Ewles, Carol Woolsey and Lloyd Ewles.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry; and his sister-in-law Moni Lee Peterson.
