It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent Mark Thompson (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marcia Lynne Tanner Thompson; his daughter Lori; his grandson Nicholas Francis; his parents, Claude M. Thompson and Madeline Perschon Thompson; and his brothers, Bill, Bob and Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Kaye Dunn (Harold), Shari Knudson (Blaine Rudd) and Brent Thompson Jr. (Angee); and his sister Claudia Bunker.
Viewing was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, Cemetery (3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the same location.
