Chan E. McInelly Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chan E. McInelly (Salt Lake City, Utah), born in Escalante, Utah, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chan E. McInelly to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his son Brent Chan; his parents, Arthur and Twila; his brothers, Wells, Kent, Dave (Yoland) and AJ; his wife Betty; his children, Bryan (Angie), Brett (Kristin), Chad (Gina) and Amy (Jason); his daughter-in-law Jill; his sisters, Mary Davis (Sherrel), Judy Griffin (Lynn) and Grena Kay Searle (Mike); his sisters-in-law, Emma Lou McInelly and Phyllis McInelly; and also Myrna (Scott). He was also cherished by twenty three grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Chan's name to support research for the treatment of chronic subdural hematomas at the University of Utah by Dr. Ramesh Grandhi, the neurosurgeon who provided such expertise and compassionate care for "Chan the Man" following a traumatic fall and in the last months of his life.
