He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles LeRoy Parker Nelson and Rose Agnes Lund Nelson; his sister Rosalie LeVeve Bost; and his daughter Elizabeth Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Georgiana; his brother Gary (Lillian); his children, Debra Gowans (Phillip), Michael, Charles, David (Christina) and Brent (Samantha); his grandchildren, Josh Gowans, Trevor Gowans (Mary), Mandy Record (Elton), Shauna Gowans, Kaylene Gowans, Ashlee Nelson (DJ), Christian Nelson (Brooke) and Brodie Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Camden Record, Danika Record, Brynnlee Record, Daxton Record and Reuben Gowans.
