He was predeceased by : his brothers, Lynn and Jerry; his parents, Velora and John; and his wife Phyllis Erma Larson.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie, Kelly (Celia), Kurt (Charlotte) and Kevin (Louise); his sister Lois Fetzer (Lee); and his sister-in-law Jeannine Snider. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
