He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Rich (Michelle) and Robyn Nielsen (Eric); his grandchildren, Siena (Steven), Emerson, Rion, Kira, Hannah and Christian; and his sister Eda Nell Radford Checketts.

Ed was the Founding Chair of Ogden Valley Pathways and founding chair of the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley.
