He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Peterson and Auline Peterson; his son John Peterson; and his sisters, Donna Mae Hart and Carrol Sevy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lee; his children, Sheri Ferguson, Marcia Jacobsen (Craig), Mark Peterson (Kim) and David Peterson (Shauna); and his siblings, Walter Peterson (Susan), Kathryn Jones (Lynn) and Marian Perrier (Rand). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
