He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Vanikiotis and Maria Vanikiotis (Angelos); his brother Nick Vanikiotis; and his in-laws, John and Vasiliki Rogaris.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Vanikiotis (Rogaris); and his brothers, Bill Vanikiotis and Pete Vanikiotis (Sophia). He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
