He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Vazquez and Amalia Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Gerardo (Jessica), Alejandro, Daniel, Dulce (Feliciano) and Antonio; and his siblings, Abel, Yolanda, Socorro, Javier, Maria Luisa, Rosa, Roberto, Amalia and Jose.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations for the funeral costs.
