He was predeceased by: his parents, Christina Savas (Makis) and Pete Savas; his siblings, Gus, Wilma, Tula, George, Joanne, Nick, Tony and Spero; and his siblings' children, Sophia Roumpos, Todd Savas and George Gamvroulas.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Savas; and his children, Gena Russell and Mathew Savas.
