It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Blair of Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arnold Shaw and Ida Leila Gallagher Shaw; her grandson Daniel Kempner; her son-in-law Randy Pearce; and her niece Jessie Anum.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Kade, Amie, Marleen, Paula, Terra and JoAnn; her husband Thomas Melvin Blair; her daughters, Becky Zgraggen, Shauna Zgraggen, Sheryl Nelson (Dave) and Kori Pearce; her grandchildren, Elliott Zgraggen (Suzanne), Ben Kempner (Joan), Stephane Williams (Rob), Jessica Zgraggen, David Nelson, Justin Zgraggen, Josh Nelson and Amanda Wey (Nick); her great grandchildren, James Luke, Zoey Luke, Angelica Tan, Xavier Zgraggen, Oliver Luke, Benjamin Kempner, Rose Davis, Lincoln Zgraggen and Bella Nelson; her siblings' children, Chris Keller (Dawn), Jeannie Hauf (Don), Erika Balyo (Scott), Carter Shaw (Rebecca), Richard Blair, Brenda Uffens (Greg), Kenny Blair (Adaire) and David Blair (Michelle); and her siblings, Jay Shaw (Helen) and Colleen Dawson (Gary).
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Grandeur Peak Ward (3640 Millstream Ln, Salt Lake City, UT 84109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
