It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joaquin Cardenas in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joaquin Cardenas; his wife Janeth Cardenas; and his children, Aracely Urbina, Mirna Hekkings, Roxana Alvarado, Joaquin A. Cardenas and Evelyn Lopez. He was also cherished by 16 Grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
