John Kanphus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Kanphus of Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hafen "Jack" Knaphus and Joyce Lawana Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Jim (Ammie), Ned (Audrey), Russ (Paula), Heidi Glenn (Jayson), Geri Bohn (Chris) and Brady Knaphus; and his siblings, Carrie Reid (Bruce), Bruce Knaphus, Chris Knaphus (Leslie), Mark Knaphus (Julie) and Peggy Duke (Kevin). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
