She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Leland Kniffing; her brother James; and her parents, Joseph Eli Rawlinson and Myrtle Ruth Argust. She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Rawlinson, Rex Rawlinson (Maureen), Anina Reeve (Ron), Cheryl Robinson (Scott), Mark Rawlinson (Raena), Lisa Rawlinson and David Rawlinson; her siblings' children, Gina Kerhart (Chase) and Brad Rawlinson (Bekky); her stepdaughter Jill Cracroft (Stephen); and her stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Cracroft Morrey and Stephen Brett Cracroft.

She was a dedicated animal lover and made many donations to animal based protection causes.
