We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 90, Joseph Paul Fairbourne (Salt Lake City, Utah) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joseph departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bunier Fairbourne and Dora Elizabeth Bennet; and his brothers, Court and Ace Fairbourne. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Darlene Baker; and his children, Lisa (Jim Foster), Brad (Karen Fairbourne), Scott Fairbourne (Darren Engleman) and Aimee (Chris Adamson). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wasatch 4th Ward Chapel (2215 E Roosevelt Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84108).
Even with advanced Alzheimer's, he was always asking how he could help or serve.
