She was predeceased by: her former husband James Harlan Newton; her husband Leon Burkhart; her son Kelly Newton; her great grandchild Zoey Marie Erdmann; and her brothers, Gary Hansen and Lamar Hansen.
She is survived by: her brother Lynn Hansen (Jean). She is also survived by her three children, six grandsons, and four granddaughters, and 15 great-grandchildren.
