It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia Sloan in Salt Lake City, Utah, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Raymond Sloan (Helen Schoenfeld), John Leland Phibbs, Kasey Canham and Payton Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Fischer (Brian) and Randy Sloan (Kristine); her grandchildren, Natalie Workman, Brandi Neff (Waylon), Shamra Mason (Brandon), Amber Sloan (Lynn) and Todd Sloan (Kori); and her siblings, Dorothy Rosenquist and Mickey Phibbs. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McDougal Funeral Homes (4330 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
