She is survived by: her children, Dennis DeVere Taggart Jr. (Helen) and Pamela Engman (Brian); her brother Scott Miller (Cherilyn); and her siblings-in-law, Todd Taggart and Judy Taggart. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Karen Miller Taggart, Aunt Karen was a beautiful woman inside and outside. Her light shined brightly to all she came in contact with. Incredibly gifted and talented in many areas; a woman to be admired, respected and treasured. I have a cookbook she published of no sugar recipes she created for Uncle Dennis i believe. My mother, Kathy, adored her and shared what a gifted candy maker she was. She had sewed a receiving blanket for Kim which we have still today. Remembering...”
