He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Young and Carol Young; and his brother Douglas Young. He is survived by: his children, Rachel Phipps (David), Crystal Wood (Keith) and Dallas Edwards (Dorothy); and his sisters, Karen Blain (Jim), Pamela Maurer and Kellie Boudreau (Bill). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
