It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Easton Platt of Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on October 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lloyd Platt and Jeanetta Scott Platt; his sisters, Janet Platt and Myrna Platt Coats; his sons, Brian Lloyd Platt and Jason Paulo Platt; and his grandson Joseph Russell Platt.
He is survived by: his significant other Fern Josephine Johnson (Jo); his children, Sheri Tesseyman (David), Randy Platt (Stacy), Russell Platt (Mary Kay), Laura Davis (Darrell), Tracy Platt (Jennifer), Jeanetta Robinson (Colin), Steven Platt (Holly), David Platt (Kaylene) and Nathan Platt (Paulette); his daughters-in-law, Tanya Platt (Brian) and Talia Platt (Jason); and his siblings, Gerald Platt (Beverly), John Platt (Shawna), Laurel Bush and Lynn Gudat (Elmar). He is also survived by 43 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
